Spirit of Amanita Guided Journey
This 23 min guided meditation and/or conscious connected breathwork journey is a sacred invitation to meet the Spirit of Amanita — the ancient forest guardian, dream weaver, and wisdom keeper who bridges the worlds between Earth and Sky.
Whether you are preparing to ingest Amanita for the first time or simply wish to reconnect with her essence after time apart, this experience will guide you gently back into her frequency — one of balance, surrender, and deep-rooted remembrance, while also creating space to receive a heartfelt message from her for you at this time. What message awaits you from this meeting with Amanita?
No previous experience is required, although an open heart & mind can be extra supportive. If new to Conscious Connected Breathwork, please visit: youtube.com/@aroharising for a short tutorial.
Before you begin, create a sacred space that feels safe, grounded, and ceremonial:
•Light a candle or burn herbs such as cedar, mugwort, or pine to cleanse your space
•Place a red cloth, a mushroom, a photo, or a symbol of the forest & Amanita upon your altar•Create a cozy nest for your journey. Grabbing extra pillows, blankets and an eye pillow to turn your focus inwards. Ensure that your body will be able to relax for the duration of our time together.
•Include any crystals you may have to support you with grounding and/or opening your third eye chakra (eg. black tourmaline, clear quartz, amethyst, sodalite, kyanite)
•Have a journal & pen nearby to write any messages that may want to come through•Have water or herbal tea for after we are complete and perhaps some tissues if needed
•Ensure your phone is on silent and that you won’t be disturbed for the duration of this recording
Allow your breath to become the bridge — between the seen and unseen, between your heart and the heart of the Earth. Trusting, surrendering and allowing yourself to be guided with each conscious breath.
Through guided visualization and rhythmic conscious breathing, you’ll journey into a forest woodland, where time slows and the air hums with ancient memory. Here, a creature/animal of the forest will meet you and bring you to meet the Spirit of Amanita. You will be invited to listen deeply, to remember your kinship with the Earth, and to receive any wisdom or blessings she offers.
This journey is recommended to use:
•Before microdosing and/or to attune yourself with Amanita’s energy
•Periodically, when feeling ungrounded or out of alignment with the medicine
•Or simply as a devotional practice to honour this sacred ally and the cycles of life she teaches us to embody
Let the breath be the prayer.
Let your body be the altar.
And let the Spirit of Amanita remind you,you are the forest dreaming itself awake...
Mush love & gratitude🍄

Integration Tips
Upon completing this journey, here are a few tips to support your integration process:
1. Ground in the Body
After the meditation, bring gentle movement into your body — stretch, sway, or lie flat on the Earth. Feel your weight, your breath, your heartbeat. Amanita often invites expansion between worlds; grounding helps your nervous system integrate what was seen or felt so it can root in the physical realm.
Try: barefoot grounding outdoors or massaging your feet with oil infused with cedar, pine, or vetiver.
2. Journal the Messages Immediately
Write or voice-record what you remember before the thinking mind filters it out. Don’t analyze yet — simply let the words, symbols, and sensations pour through you.
Later, you can revisit and reflect:-
What qualities or archetypes did Amanita embody for you?
-
What emotions or sensations arose?
-
What teachings or invitations did you receive?
Prompt: “If Amanita had one message for me today, what would it be?”
3. Anchor the Energy into Ritual
Integration is best supported by small, consistent actions that honour the spirit of the journey. Create a simple daily ritual that reflects what Amanita shared — lighting a candle, whispering gratitude to the forest, or taking three slow breaths with your hand over your heart before sleep. These tiny acts build a bridge between the visionary and the everyday.
4. Stay Connected to the Earth
Spend time outside — sit under trees, touch moss, feel the soil.
Amanita is deeply rooted in the mycelial web, and her teachings are often about reciprocity with the Earth. Offer your gratitude in a physical way — a song, a piece of art, or simply leaving water at the base of a tree.5. Nourish the Nervous System
Because the breathwork may open altered states, allow yourself a period of rest afterward. Eat grounding foods (root vegetables, oats, soups) and avoid overstimulation (screens, caffeine, loud noise).
This helps your body integrate the energetic shifts that occurred during the meditation.6. Reflect on Reciprocity
Amanita’s spirit is ancient and relational — not something to “use” but to learn with.
Ask yourself:-
How can I embody her teachings in my life?
-
What can I give back to the Earth, to balance what I receive?
You may feel called to support local ecology, tend to fungi, or teach others about ethical connection with nature.
7. Revisit the Journey Cyclically
Integration doesn’t happen in one sitting. Return to the meditation during seasonal shifts, lunar cycles, or moments of disconnection.
Each time, you may meet Amanita in a new form — as guide, elder, ancient ally, mother, or mirror. Her wisdom deepens the more you listen.8. Close with Gratitude
When you feel the integration is complete for now, take a few breaths of thanks — for your breath, your body, the mycelial network beneath your feet, and the Spirit of Amanita for her continued guidance. Gratitude seals the portal and reminds your system that you are safe, supported, and sovereign.
