About the event
On International Women’s Day, we gather in sisterhood for a deeply intentional day retreat devoted to honouring the Heroine within, with the support of Amanita Muscaria & Blue Lotus.
Inspired by Maureen Murdock’s The Heroine’s Journey, (the female-centric version of Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey), this ceremony recognizes that a woman’s path is rarely linear. It is cyclical. Initiatory. Layered with trials, triumphs, grief, devotion, shadow, and rebirth. It takes courage to keep showing up. It takes bravery to keep feeling it all. It takes resilience to keep breathing through the fire and to keep doing the healing & integrating to keep our inner flame from burning out.
